Worcester, MA — October 15, 2025 — More than 200 leaders in aging services gathered at the College of the Holy Cross for the 71st Annual Meeting of the Membership and Achievement Awards Celebration, hosted by LeadingAge Massachusetts, the statewide nonprofit trade association representing mission-driven aging services providers. The event celebrated leadership, innovation, and the collective impact of the Commonwealth’s nonprofit aging services community.

The evening also marked a leadership transition on the LeadingAge Massachusetts Board of Trustees, as Margaret Mantoni, CEO of The Loomis Communities, was elected Chair of the Board, succeeding Walter Ramos, President and CEO of Rogerson Communities, who will continue to serve as Immediate Past Chair.

“I am deeply honored to accept the role of Chair of the Board for LeadingAge Massachusetts,” said Mantoni. “Our field faces both tremendous challenges and extraordinary opportunities. Workforce pressures, evolving care models, and the growing needs of those we serve all require us to think boldly and act collectively. LeadingAge Massachusetts is uniquely positioned to be our unifying voice—advocating for our mission, sharing best practices, and strengthening one another.”

At the Annual Business Meeting, members elected the following officers and trustees:

Officers

Chair: Margaret Mantoni, The Loomis Communities
