Earlier this month, LeadingAge Massachusetts and LeadingAge Maine & New Hampshire announced plans to merge, creating a stronger regional association serving mission-driven aging services providers across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
We are incredibly excited about what this means for our members and for the future of our organizations. Bringing our associations together will create new opportunities for connection, collaboration, shared learning, leadership development, and innovation across the region while continuing the strong state-based advocacy and member support that providers rely on today.
As we have explored this opportunity over the past several months, one thing has become increasingly clear: our organizations share deeply aligned values, cultures, and commitments to supporting aging services providers and the older adults they serve. By coming together, we believe we can strengthen our collective voice, expand member value, and position the organization for even greater impact in the years ahead.
We are especially excited about the opportunity for members to build new relationships with peers across neighboring states, exchange ideas, and learn from organizations navigating many of the same opportunities and challenges.
Members can learn more about the proposed merger, timeline, and next steps by reviewing the Frequently Asked Questions document here: LeadingAge MA & ME-NH Merger FAQs
