Growing Our Community: New Members Join LeadingAge Massachusetts

New Provider Member: Alliance at Coleman, formerly known as Coleman House, has joined LeadingAge Massachusetts as a Provider Member. The community includes 45 Skilled Nursing Facility beds and 22 Assisted Living units. We’re pleased to welcome Alliance at Coleman and look forward to their engagement with fellow providers across our network.

New Business Affiliates: We’re also pleased to welcome two new Business Affiliate Members offering valuable expertise and support to our community:

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants specializes in insurance solutions tailored specifically to senior living and aging services providers.

NMP Solutions, LLC, founded by Naomi Prendergast, a longtime LeadingAge Massachusetts member, provides consulting services focused on leadership and governance for nonprofit organizations, as well as operational and quality improvement support for post-acute providers.

As we move through the latter part of cold and flu season, continued vigilance around respiratory illness monitoring and reporting remains essential. To support members, LeadingAge Massachusetts, in partnership with Legacy Lifecare Consulting, has developed a set of reporting requirement resources outlining key thresholds, timelines, and documentation requirements related to respiratory viruses.  Access the reporting requirement documents

2Life Communities and Element Care, both LeadingAge Massachusetts members, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of Solimine House, a new affordable senior housing community in Lynn.  Located on the former Union Hospital site, the community will feature a lively ground-floor “village center” with community space, wellness and fitness areas, and resident lounges. An enclosed walkway will directly connect Solimine House to Element Care’s PACE center, strengthening access to coordinated, comprehensive healthcare and supporting residents’ ability to age in community. The development reflects the power of member collaboration to advance affordable housing, integrated care, and stability for older adults. Learn more about the project.
