Description:

Senior dining has evolved far beyond rigid schedules and limited menus. Today’s residents expect a hospitality-driven experience that supports wellness, dignity, and choice, while creating spaces that foster connection and enjoyment.

This session explores three high-impact areas shaping modern senior dining: innovative hydration strategies, best practices in memory care dining, and the growing role of cafés in senior living communities. Attendees will learn how thoughtful hydration programs support resident health, how environment and service influence dining outcomes in memory care, and why cafés have become a powerful tool for choice, social engagement, and intergenerational connection.

Walk away with practical ideas and proven approaches to elevate the dining experience, strengthen resident satisfaction, and deliver hospitality that truly feels like home.

Target Audience:
Sales and Marketing Leaders, Executive Leadership, Culinary and Dietetic Leadership

Event Objectives:

  1. Analyze the impact of hydration on resident health and apply practical strategies, including hydration stations, to improve intake.
  2. Evaluate key factors influencing memory care dining outcomes, including environment, presentation, nutrition, and caregiver interaction.
  3. Assess the role of cafés in senior living dining and outline steps to successfully implement a café model that supports choice, variety, and social engagement.
