Strengthening Emergency Preparedness in Assisted Living

The newly adopted Assisted Living regulations effective July 31 include new requirements for Assisted Living Disaster and Emergency Preparedness plans, which the Executive Office of Aging and Independence have encouraged communities to prioritize. 

Join LeadingAge Massachusetts and Jim Garrow of Jensen Hughes for a practical webinar focused on emergency preparedness planning for Massachusetts Assisted Living Residences.

The session will review what should be included in a comprehensive disaster and emergency preparedness plan and provide guidance on conducting a Hazard Vulnerability Analysis.

Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to identify and prioritize potential hazards, assess organizational risks and use the results to strengthen their community’s emergency planning and preparedness.
