Activities Peer Group (December)

Join fellow Activities Professionals for this opportunity to connect with your colleagues!

Hosted by Catherine Sabatini from Bethany Health Care Center and Brian Patton from Fox Hill Village.

The focus for this meeting will be the 2026 yearlong celebration of “AMERICA 250!”’ -the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

We will seek input and collaboration from you on ways that this historic milestone can be celebrated throughout the year with monthly and quarterly themes.

Possible events can range from:
- Creating a video “time capsule” for sharing 250 stories from your residents and staff
- Opportunities to partner with community groups (art installation) and schools (“Senior to Senior” partnering with the senior class of a local high school to facilitate the passing on of wisdom)
- Maybe even organizing several “Leading Age Celebrates 250!” events, around Massachusetts, where we come to you!

We would love to hear from you if this yearlong theme is something that would be helpful and interesting in creating engaging initiatives at your community.
