The Tenant Selection Plan (TSP) helps to ensure that tenants are selected for occupancy in accordance with HUD requirements and established management policies. HUD requires that the plan specify a number of procedures and policies, yet so many properties get findings at their MOR's (Management and Occupancy Reviews) for either having the wrong information in the plan, not following what's in the plan correctly, or not understanding plan requirements adequately. This session helps to ensure that your TSP contains accurate information for your program type, help staff understand the regulations and how to implement them, and how the TSP relates to other documents to ensure consistency and continued compliance. Avoid MOR findings by making sure the TSP is in compliance and that staff understand and implement requirements correctly.

• Learn which statutory requirements apply to your property and how to address them in the TSP
• Explore how the TSP interacts with other property documents and how to ensure compliance among all of them

Rhanda McKown, Director of Affordable Housing, LeadingAge Florida

Prior to joining LeadingAge Florida, Rhanda spent 15 years conducting Management and Occupancy Reviews (MOR) under the Performance Based Contract Administration (PBCA) contract in Florida and the US Virgin Islands. Rhanda has over 20 years of experience in various aspects of the housing industry. Rhanda's prior housing industry experience includes having served as Director of the Affordable Housing Study Commission (AHSC), working at Florida Housing Finance Corporation (the state housing finance agency for Florida), and previously working at LeadingAge Florida which is where she originally began her housing career.

Rhanda graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and lives in central Florida.
