LeadingAge MA 2017 Annual Conference and Exhibition is your chance to connect with and learn from those at the forefront of our field. This exciting event brings together over 450 providers and exhibitors from across the entire continuum of aging services in Massachusetts.
This year's educational program will focus on The Power of Purpose. Each day we are faced with challenges that need to be tackled with purpose. The program will give you tools to realize the potential you have to succeed in the aging services field.

Registration Cancellation Policy
LeadingAge Massachusetts must receive a written/email registration cancellation request by May 4, 2017 to guarantee a refund, minus a $15.00 non-refundable cancellation fee. Cancellations made after this date and non-attending registrants are responsible for the full registration fee. If your organization is under a state survey the day of this event, a full refund will be issued to all attendees participating in the survey. Substitutions are encouraged for any attendee that is not able to attend.
Up to 5.5 Continuing Education Credits for Nursing Home Administrators (Massachusetts Deemed Status number NH-• 09015-006) and Nurses.
An application for 5.5 CEUs has been submitted for Social Workers approval.
About the Exhibition Hall
The Exhibition Hall will feature over 75 businesses that are committed to supporting and enhancing the work of aging service providers. Gain knowledge of how these exhibitors can help you to improve the lives of those you serve. The Exhibition Hall will be open from 12:00pm until 1:45pm. Lunch will be served in the Exhibition Hall and don’t forget to bring your business cards with you as there are many wonderful prizes to be won!
Dr. Gillette attended Brandeis University as an undergraduate where he graduated magna-cum-laude with majors in philosophy and classical Greek and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He went to Brown University for his Masters and Ph.D. in Philosophy where he wrote a doctoral dissertation entitled “Paternalism in Psychiatric Medicine: A Philosophical Perspective”. Dr. Gillette has taught philosophy at several colleges and universities, received tenure at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, published several articles in the field of clinical ethics and has received numerous teaching awards. He is presently President of Bioethical Services of Virginia, Inc., a medical ethics consulting business that works with a wide range of healthcare providers to support their ethics programs. Dr. Gillette also has experience in local government, serving on Lynchburg City Council from 2004-2016 and as Lynchburg's Mayor from 2012-2016, and has consulted with local governing bodies regarding public sector ethics. In addition to providing extensive policy and case consultation services to a variety of different organizations, Dr. Gillette is a dynamic speaker who presents to audiences around the country.
