Program Overview
|
The Academy is designed as a leadership development program. Participants will actively explore best practices of leaders, analyze their own leadership, learning and problem solving styles and experience the synergies that result from high performing teams. In order to maximize learning opportunities, space is limited to a maximum of 15 participants.

Who Should Attend
|
Those sponsored for the program should be mid-level managers and up at a LeadingAge Massachusetts provider member organization with the potential and desire to make an impact on their organization. At least three years experience managing teams and/or projects is required.

Program Structure
|
Designed specifically for the adult learner, this cohort-focused program requires your commitment to four fullday and three half-day sessions, plus preparation required for each session over one year. Work required in between sessions is estimated to take an additional 4-6 hours per month.

Dean of the Academy
|
Jodi Detjen is a professor of management in the MBA program at Suffolk University and is a principal partner of the InTrinsic Group. The InTrinsic Group guides organizations to leverage their existing people and processes to maximize performance and long term impact. Jodi received her MA in International Development Policy focusing on organizational development from Duke University in 1997 and her BSc from Virginia Tech in Management Science in 1986. |
