LeadingAge Massachusetts, formerly MassAging, is the only organization representing the full continuum of mission-driven, not-for-profit providers of health care, housing, and services for older persons in Massachusetts. Members of LeadingAge Massachusetts provide housing and services to more than 25,000 older persons in the Commonwealth each year.

The mission of LeadingAge Massachusetts is to Expand the World of Possibilities for Aging. We strive for this by leading in innovative practices that transform how we care for our aging population, spear-heading cutting-edge initiatives to develop services that meet older adults’ needs and preferences, and advocating to advance the interests of the aging consumer.

Our national partner, LeadingAge, is an association of 6,000 not for profit organizations dedicated to expanding the world of possibilities for aging. Together, we advance policies, promote practices and conduct research that supports, enables and empowers people to live fully as they age.

  • 7th Annual Senior Living Symposium - Cosponsored by LeadingAge Massachusetts and Ziegler, this popular event will be held on Thursday, March 12th at the Crowne Plaza in Natick, Massachusetts.  This one-day event is designed to provide attendees with an update on current trends and issues impacting senior living and long term care.   • Leadership Educational Program:  Systemic Leadership: The Power of Systems Thinking with UMass Professor Carol Sharicz.  Problem solving is a key skill for leaders.  Understanding the underlying patterns and dynamics that cause these problems enables leaders to solve the core issue verses the symptoms. This key competency is called Systems Thinking.  Explore how a systems approach frees leaders from finding themselves in situations where they are forced to react and continuously “put out fires.”  Join us on Thursday February 26, 2015 for this engaging leadership topic!

  • MDS 3.0/RUG IV Distance Learning Series January-May 2015  This series of 19 webinars are designed to be an affordable, up-to-date distance learning educational opportunity about the process of completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0, and the impact of its accuracy. There are basic and intermediate sessions with Q&A after designed to meet each member of your team involved in the assessment process at their point of need.
