LeadingAge Massachusetts, formerly MassAging, is the only organization representing the full continuum of mission-driven, not-for-profit providers of health care, housing, and services for older persons in Massachusetts. Members of LeadingAge Massachusetts provide housing and services to more than 25,000 older persons in the Commonwealth each year.

The mission of LeadingAge Massachusetts is to Expand the World of Possibilities for Aging. We strive for this by leading in innovative practices that transform how we care for our aging population, spear-heading cutting-edge initiatives to develop services that meet older adults’ needs and preferences, and advocating to advance the interests of the aging consumer.

Our national partner, LeadingAge, is an association of 6,000 not for profit organizations dedicated to expanding the world of possibilities for aging. Together, we advance policies, promote practices and conduct research that supports, enables and empowers people to live fully as they age.

  • Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Technology Symposium, December 4th at the Crowne Plaza, Natick.  Sponsored by Sallop Insurance.  Keynote speaker Colin Angle, CEO and co-founder of iRobot will discuss how robots can and will be shaping health care and support of people as they age.  Attendees will also learn what the Mass eHealth Institute (MeHI) is doing to support electronic health exchange with long term care providers, technology demonstrations and much more!

  • Managing Conflict, Presented by Chris Brodie!  Sponsored by CliftonLarsonAllen.  This workshop will inform your approach to conflict and reaching agreements with others, using proven methods of understanding yourself, the situation, and the people you are dealing with. You will also learn specific techniques to assess your options and address the situation, empowering you to become the conflict competent person you want to be.   • Call for Sessions! Would you be willing to share your innovative idea, program or achievement?  If so, consider submitting a session proposal for the 2015 Annual Confernece.  Deadline for submitting proposals is Wednesday December 17, 2014. Individuals and organizations are invited to submit proposals for session presentations at LeadgingAge Massachusetts’ 2015 Annual Conference and Exhibition which will be held on May 7, 2015 at the Holiday Inn Boxborough.
